A Kingston native, Warren was an outstanding quarterback at Frontenac SS and the University of Western Ontario where he led the Mustangs to victory in the 1994 Vanier Cup. After his playing days, he joined the staff of the Queen's Golden Gaels and served as Offensive Coordinator for two years.
After growing up and playing football in Kingston, Warren returns to coaching after being involved for over a decade. "I appreciate the time that others gave to helping me as a player so I look forward to helping the next generation of players." He joins us this season to help with the offensive line.

| Rita Sue Bolton

Coach Bolton will be working with all of the Grenadiers Football teams.
RitaSue is a 4 time Sports Hall of Fame Inductee as an athlete, coach and builder. With 38 years of experience coaching both teams and individuals, she has 13 years of experience with the Queen's Track and Field Team. More importantly (from our perspective) she was the Fitness Coordinator for 17 years with the Queen's Varsity Football team, winning the CIAU Gino Fracas Award as the Outstanding Volunteer Assistant Coach of the Year!
In addition to her work with the Grenadiers, RitaSue also works with individuals and/or teams as a Peak Performance Coach by exploring the mind and energy of athletic performance is a program called M.E. coaching Y.O.U.
Her Grens specialty will be speed and flexibility development as well as giving you the mental mind set to compete at your best.

A graduate of Sydenham High School, this former Grenadier now plays for the St. Francis Xavier Xmen in Antigonish NS. Chris will work on the defensive side of the ball with the defensive backs and Coach Mullen

| Andreas Ken

Punters/Kickers
|
Ken is a former Windsor Lancer and Windor AKO lineman who will bring his many years of KASSAA expertise with LCVI, QECVI and Sydenham to the Grenadiers. Ken's passion is the kicking game, but he can also contribute to the development of the offensive and defensive lines. He has spent countless hours over the course of the past high school season watching and assessing the local athletes from Brockville to Belleville to Smiths Falls and beyond. Ken spends countless hours tending to the facilities and field at LCVI and is our resident weather guru! The winner of the Grenadiers Volunteer of the Year Award in 2009, Ken will return for a fourth season of coaching with the Grenadiers.

Offensive Line

JP is a former Golden Gael from 2003-06 and current LTO teacher at Holy Cross. As an undersized lineman, he relied on quickness and impeccable technique to have a successful playing career. JP played in the local OPP league and pursued his high school football at Regi here in Kingston. He began his coaching career with the OPP league while still a Gael. After his graduation from Queen's, he coached the offensive and defensive lines at Regi and is currently a head coach in the Thousand Islands Minor Football League.
This season JP will, in his third Grenadiers season, coach our offensive linemen.

| Ken Dearborn

Ken played offensive guard in the inaugural Vanier Cup for McMaster University. Over a 30 year career in education Ken has coached football and track at both Martingrove Collegiate and Sydenham High School. Retired since 1998, he is still active as a secondary school starter at both local and provincial track meets. Ken returns to the Grenadiers for a fourth year as head coach with the Grens organization.

Tim quarterbacked the Queen's Golden Gaels to their 1992 Vanier Cup victory over the Saint Mary's Huskies. After graduation Tim began a successful career as a secondary school teacher and Head Football Coach at Holy Cross CSS in Kingston. In 2009, Tim's Crusaders captured the KASSAA championship. Tim will work again this season as the offensive coordinator for his third year.

Defensive Coordinator
|
Bob played both quarterback and defensive back while at Queen's University. He is currently teaching at Loyalist CVI. As a coach, Bob has unparalleled qualifications. He was named the OVFL coach of the year in 2011. For years he was the defensive coordinator for the Queen's University Golden Gaels where he gained a reputation as one of the finest defensive strategists in the country at any level. His defense still holds the record for fewest points allowed in a Vanier Cup Championship game. In 1993, he won the national Gino Fracas Award as the most outstanding volunteer assistant coach in the entire CIS. In 2003, he was selected to the Queen's Coaches Hall of Fame. In 2010, he was inducted into the Queen's Football Hall of Fame, along with his friend Bob Howes. The Grenadiers are extremely pleased to welcome Bob back for a fourth season of coaching with the Varsity Grenadiers.

| Jeff Hill

Defensive Line
|
Jeff recently retired after a 28 year career as municipal policeman and Military Police Officer which provided him with extensive teaching and training expertise. He graduated from McMaster University with an athletic subsidized BA in Physical Geography. Although he played linebacker in high school football, Jeff was recruited by McMaster for his defensive water polo talents where he started on five national and OUAA championship teams. These teams lost only one game during his tenure.
A football and coaching enthusiast, Jeff returns for his third season with the Grenadiers. A former defensive coordinator for Bayside Secondary School in Belleville, Jeff has coached locally the defensive lines at both LaSalle and Holy Cross.
